What it’s all about: The Me to We philosophy is an invitation to harness the power of individual choices to create a world of change. We Act is a service-based learning program that supports students to become compassionate leaders and active citizens by taking action for the issues that matter most to them both locally and globally. By taking at least one local and one global action, We Act helps students gain diverse skills and perspectives that challenge apathy and encourage active citizenship. Me to We Clubs in Minnesota are involved in a number of local causes such as hunger, homelessness, environment, poverty, local shelter projects, public service announcements, etc. Me to We Clubs also get involved on a global level with projects focused on access to education, access to clean water, access to healthcare, food security, poverty, adopting a village, adopting an entrepreneur, coin drives, etc.
