Jazz Band (7th/8th grade) meets Thursday morning from 7:15 - 7:55 am
Jazz Too (6th grade) meets Tuesday morning from 7:15 - 7:55 am
Who can participate: Any student that is enrolled in band at Hastings Middle School. Both ensembles are non-auditioned groups.
What it’s all about: Jazz Ensemble gives students an opportunity to explore various types of jazz, rock and pop music that is not normally played in a regular concert band. Opportunities are provided for solos and improvisation.
