Monday, February 23rd - B Day

• Mrs. Herber recommends a historical fiction book by the author that Mrs. Haberkorn recommended this year. In this gripping story, two boys touring a battleship when Japanese planes zoom overhead, dropping bomb after bomb. As explosions roar and sailors scream, the two boys realize the unthinkable is happening: Japan is attacking America! The war has come to them.

• Attention Knowledge Bowlers - Our Staff versus Student and end of the season party will be NEXT Thursday, MARCH 5th.  We’ll see you Next Thursday in Mr. Busse’s Room. Staff, there’s still time to join the Staff team and defeat the students. 

• Attention 7th Graders: the 7th grade boys bathroom is closed until further notice. If you need to use the restroom, you will need to report to the cafeteria bathrooms.

• Attention students: the lost and found will be donated Wednesday. Please keep the lost and found, located by the gym, today, today to collect any of your missing items. 

• Any 8th Grade Boy interested in playing golf for the HS Teams, please attend our Middle School meeting on Tuesday February 24th at 7:40am in the Main Gym.

• Reminder for HMS Outdoor Club kids attending the fishing trip tomorrow at Lake Rebecca: meet in Mr. Shemon’s room right after school. If you’re bringing your own fishing gear, please drop it off before school outside of Shemon’s room. 

• Middle School Swim starts today. Please meet in the Gym. We will be getting in the water today.

• The Book Fair is officially HERE! Come explore awesome stories, exciting adventures, hilarious books, cool facts, and so much more. There’s something for everyone! Visit the Book Fair today and tomorrow in the library from 7:35 AM to 2:45 PM to find your next favorite book and start reading today! Remember to ask your teacher for permission and a pass to visit the Book Fair during the school day. Our evening event is on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:30 PM near the middle school auditorium.
