The goal of the Hastings Middle School centers on individual student success, mastery of learning and development of positive, well-rounded, life-long learners who work together as respectful and responsible citizens. We operate from a middle-level philosophy because we recognize that middle school students are a unique population with special needs of early adolescence. Our staff provides an environment that allows for the varied stages of development in our students. We have created a carefully designed program so that each child is given opportunities to develop and grow intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Hastings Middle School staff and faculty stand ready to meet your child's academic, social and emotional needs. More than 70% of our middle school teachers have middle-level certification. There is a wonderful blend of youth and experience.
